Which links are affiliate links
Any button, CTA, or link labelled "Visit", "Try Now", or "Initialize" that points to a third-party tool's sign-up page may be an affiliate link. These links are marked with rel="sponsored" in the page source where our platform supports it.
How affiliate relationships affect our rankings
They do not change the order. Every tool in our editorial index is scored using the same rubric and the same test bench. Tools we do not currently have an affiliate agreement with can appear at #1. Tools we do have an affiliate agreement with are not excluded from negative commentary when they earn it.
If we ever write a paid placement or sponsored post, it will be clearly labelled as such at the top of the page and will be kept separate from the editorial ranking.
